These Dry Lake Beds were about a 40-45 minute drive from Las Vegas--literally out in the middle of the desert--and I nearly got lost try to find it. I mean come on, how do you GPS dry lake bed in the middle of the desert? I don't think there's an address for that. But it was worth the drive and the search! I've been wanting to shoot out here for ages, I just never had anyone willing to drive all the way out here. Well that is until I found my awesome photographer Tasha (@tashawarren)! It was the perfect time to shoot with my favorite outfit of the moment--a very unique pair of pants (not even sure what to call it?) and a simple black halter top. The pants were made out of a very thin, breezy fabric and had slits that went all the way up to mid-thigh. Perfect for the wind! Well that is until the wind started picking up speed....yikes.

I know I always complain that there are no good places to shoot at in Las Vegas, but after this shoot, this dry lake bed is probably somewhere on the top of my list. I think this location perfectly captures the essence of Las Vegas: dry desert, topped off with gorgeous mountains in the background. It's no New York City skyline, but the drive here with the mountains in the background was pretty darn beautiful.

Not too shabby Vegas, not too shabby.
